Prof. Marek Golka, nauczyciel fizyki z ponad 50-letnim stażem, rekordzista liczby finalistów i laureatów Olimpiady Fizycznej, wychowawca medalistów międzynarodowych opowiada, że nie ma „tajemnicy sukcesu” poza spokojem, tolerancją i wiarą w każdego ucznia, którego traktuje jak nieoszlifowany diament. Zawsze kluczowe było dla niego tworzenie w szkołach żywego laboratorium: własnoręcznie budował wyposażenie i kompletował aparaturę, a pracownia stawała się miejscem dyskusji i wspólnoty uczniów. Podkreśla, że wyniki wymagają obecności nauczyciela poza planem lekcji i akcentuje, że bez doświadczeń fizycznych nie da się dojść do najwyższego poziomu.
Abstract
Professor Marek Golka, a physics teacher with more than 50 years of experience, record-holder for the number of finalists and winners of the Physics Olympiad, and mentor of international medalists, says that there is no “secret of success” other than calm, tolerance, and faith in every student, whom he treats as an uncut diamond. For him, it has always been essential to create a living laboratory in schools: he built equipment with his own hands and assembled the necessary apparatus, while the lab became a place of discussion and a community for students. He emphasizes that strong results require a teacher’s presence beyond scheduled class hours, and stresses that without hands-on physics experiments, it is impossible to reach the highest level.
