Abstrakt
W lipcu 1949 roku został wydany pierwszy numer nowego czasopisma Polskiego Towarzystwa Fizycznego. Postępy Fizyki (PF) ukończyły w 2024 roku 75 lat. Każdy ich zeszyt przybliża odkrycia, postacie i wydarzenia, które przez dekady tworzyły historię fizyki w Polsce. Niniejsze opracowanie obejmuje momenty najważniejsze dla tożsamości samego czasopisma oraz wydarzenia historyczne uwiecznione na łamach PF. Wybór wspominanych tu artykułów jest subiektywny, dokonany przez autora. W pierwszej części przedstawiono historię czasopisma od jego początków do roku 1997, kiedy to Polskie Towarzystwo Fizyczne zyskało godło, a w PF pojawiły się pierwsze zmiany na miarę XXI wieku.
Abstract
In July 1949, the first issue of the new journal of the Polish Physical Society was published. Postępy Fizyki (PF) celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024. Each issue takes a closer look at the discoveries, figures and events that have made up the history of physics in Poland over the decades. This study covers the moments most important to the identity of the journal itself and the historical events immortalised in the pages of PF. The selection of the articles mentioned here is subjective, made by the author. This part 1 presents the history of the journal from its beginnings until 1997, when the Polish Physical Society acquired an emblem and PF began to evolve for the 21st century.
