W artykule przedstawiono współczesne spojrzenie na zagadnienie pomiarów kwantowych z punktu widzenia kwantowej teorii estymacji oraz najnowsze osiągnięcia teoretyczne i doświadczalne w dziedzinie metrologii kwantowej, ze szczególnym podkreśleniem wkładu grupy badawczej z Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego w rozwój metod teoretycznych.
