Abstract
- What colour is the Sun, and why do we see it as yellow? What does this depend on, and when does it take on other colours?
- Can a solar eclipse be calculated within the geocentric theory? How were people able to calculate this 2,000 years ago, and how did they predict lunar eclipses?
- In Professor Krzysztof Meissner’s YouTube lectures on the cooling of the Sun, one can hear that “in a few billion years the Sun will become a red giant, temperatures on Earth will exceed 373 K. At that time, the Sun will be losing energy, which means that its temperature will increase, because in gravitational systems things work the other way round.” What does it mean that things work “the other way round”? Why will the Sun, while losing energy, cause the temperature on Earth to increase?
