Abstrakt
Stopy o wysokiej entropii (ang. High-Entropy Alloy(s), HEA) od mniej więcej dwóch dekad zajmują stałe i ważne miejsce w programach wielu konferencji naukowych poświęconych fizyce ciała stałego i nauce o materiałach. Powodem są ich wyjątkowe właściwości, które budzą duże zainteresowanie ze względu na potencjalne zastosowania technologiczne. W tym artykule przedstawiamy krótko obecny stan wiedzy na temat tych wyjątkowych stopów oraz najważniejsze wyniki kilkuletniej pracy zespołu naukowców z Wydziału Fizyki i Astronomii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz z Instytutu Niskich Temperatur i Badań Strukturalnych im. Włodzimierza Trzebiatowskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk we Wrocławiu w ramach realizacji projektu badawczego finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki.
Abstract
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) have held a regular and important place for roughly two decades in the programmes of many scientific conferences devoted to solid-state physics and materials science. The reason is their exceptional properties, which attract considerable interest because of their potential technological applications. In this article, we briefly present the current state of knowledge about these remarkable alloys, as well as the most important results of several years of work by a team of researchers from the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Wrocław and the Włodzimierz Trzebiatowski Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław, carried out as part of a research project funded by the National Science Centre.
